Rural Women Foundation for Community Development (RWOFCD) is an indigenous Non-Government Organization established in 2016 by community women volunteers of different professions responding to the plight of the most marginalized and vulnerable groups of people to realize their full potential through innovative thinking, planing, action response and implementation. These especially include women, adolescent girls, children, OVCs and the youth in the rural communities of Kasese District and beyond.
RWOFCD is legally registered by the Government of Uganda as a Community Based Organization (CBO) through Kasese District Community Development Department with registration number CBO/348.
We ensure that innovation is pivotal in development where local change actors are in the driver’s seat to adapt tested knowledge and skills and transform them into action especially to the undeserved groups of people and communities.
